Prince Concert/After Party Can anyone tell me if they have attended any of Princes concerts or after parties and they were less than steller. Meaning if he was not feeling well, bad mood, loss of his voice etc. Please give details. Just curious.

When he's in a bad mood you can expect an amazing show... But I've seen some less than stellar aftershows but the one that struck me most was in 1998 at Nighttown in Holland, he became quite annoyed and downright bitchy by the lack of response to "The War" so he cut the show short by ending it with "The Santana Medley" and you can actually here his disappointment in his playing at the beginning of the medley but gladfully he picked up during it and then just said his goodbyes and split... This was the most boring show I've ever seen him do, and I've seen a lot... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

Hippodrome, London 1998. Great show, but he was in a FOUL mood that night - right little sullen fucker he was. Funnily enough A, he played 'The War' that night too, even though I dug it I'm starting to see a pattern emerging here!

Yup, I was there too, but at least there he just played on... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

out of all the shows I have seen
1 stands out to me and being less than STELLAR in 97/98, right after he sprained his ankle....Prince played a show at Concord, CA. I hate that place cause it has an 11pm curfew and we had to watch Larry and Chaka first and I was anxious cause they were eating into his time Anyways, Prince's performance was only about 90 minutes and he kinda hobbled around cause his ankle was obviously still hurt.....
