were place in 3 different post boxes in New York City on the days between july 1, 2001 and july 3, 2001

one was addressed : To Prince
One was addressed : Paisley Park Studios 7801 Chanhassen, Mn
one was placed without any mailing address

a sourse close to those involved say that
these letters were placed as a protest against the
rising of the united states postages stamp to its current price. and was to demonstrate the possiblities of a message getting from one place to another without a government stamp of approval.

it is said that the FBI is concerned that these 3 message were also a warning that futher terrorist activisties would b taken place in the United States.
