USA TODAY life? NO ARTICLE.

I just read an email by NPG saying "USA TODAY Weekend Edition Life section: Get IT."

So I went out and got it. And there's nothing about Prince in there.

WTF??!

well I, for one, am glad for your new job and your breaking down and giving in to your prince addiction. smile

You actually did very well at staying away. I've never lasted longer than a couple of weeks.

I bought the USA Today Weekend Edition, and on pg. 5E is a full page ad for the National Kidney Foundation, featuring Susan Surandon...she looks good in it--so I think I'll buy 3121 now...

(I looked on every other page of the whole paper and found no ad...there was a small synopsis of the Brit Awards, with a quick mention that Prince performed.)
"3123...that's next door to where the party be..."

I just bought USA Today, found the ad, and thought it was well worth the lousy 75 cents to buy it. And then I got to show it to everyone I work with so they can really think I'm nuts smile

Care to give VERY specific edition details so as to prevent more "it wasn't in there" dilemas?

Yeah, I just bought the darn paper and no Prince. Susan Sarandon on 5e and no Prince ad to be found.
Do they mean the USA Today that comes in the Sunday paper?

On a side note, I love how they glossed over Prince's performance at the Brit Awards. Not even one pic. But hey, as long as Madonna's okay, I guess that's all that matters. wink

I heard that the SNL epposode having prince was "the largest" this or that.

The USA paper would be tracked. Maybe the NPG wanted to see the numbers of sales of the paper go out. DOn't you know they do not have big enough egos already>?

I assumed that it is in the magazine that comes in the Sunday paper.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

nobody has been able to provide a scan of it today, so i'm guessing it didn't hit the paper. a few people have said they've seen it, so either it's only running in certain regions or else some people are just wacky
