What are you talking about dude!!! Why in the world would I be bitter with Wendy and Lisa. I am sure WnL contributed but man I cannot understand why you guys hang on to that Purple Rain era. The Revolution was a cool band but that was then this is now. Prince moved on from that a long time ago.

you might want to do some more homework on the Revolutions involvment in creating Prince's music..Same goes for the first couple NPG bands...there was def. an air of collaboration...even Prince admits that..

I know you ain't saying that All my Dreams sucks. That is classic Prince, granted you're probably listening to "Freaks on this Side" right now, but C'MON!! Seems like you can't keep up with the artistic side of The Revolution, namely Wendy and Lisa. I don't see how people DON'T see what they did for his music, the 3 of them together are untouchable.

I just don't think W&L and the songs they colloborated with Prince on are ALL golden as some of you obviously do. As a matter of fact some of it was quite crappy.

If they are so freaking great, why were they dropped from not one but two record labels? Why have they done zilch of note since leaving Prince? Please don't say they worked with Sheryl Crowe and so and so. That was session work with other artists who were already established, big deal.
And yes I have all of their solo albums. And quite frankly, the first was the best one.

Or Neil Finn's "One Nil" that Wendy co-wrote like half the songs?? Which I know to you is "no big deal" but to any fellow musician or knowledgeable music listener it's a very big deal.

I don't mind criticism of Wendy and Lisa, but Wendy and Lisa flat out ignorance just ain't cool. And like Prince himself said when asked if he listens to Wendy and Lisa's music, "Yes, I follow my sister's career, no one plays color like they do." AMEN!!!

Wendy & Lisas Eroica album gets more play time than any post 1988 Prince album in my house...and i bet they could make a better piano album than One Nite Alone.

Please get off your W&L high horse. They are not the end all be all to Prince's music.

They toured Europe whoopty doo. And as I said before their first album was the best. The second ("Fruit...")exposes why they needed Prince more than he needed them. The the third "EROICrAp" confirms why they needed Prince more than he needed them. And the fourth was mediocre at best.

Whoopty doo??? Well before we head off into the "I'm rubber and you're glue" part of this discussion, I'll just say that there is no way Wendy and Lisa's music has EVER needed Prince or anyone else.

And I actually witnessed Prince and the Revolution LIVE, not on video, and not just on a bootleg. So BELIEVE me I DO KNOW Prince's music and the colors that Wendy and Lisa added to it was pure magic for A LOT of people.
