Where's Wendy's sister?

I never gave it a 2nd thought but Why is it
That when Wendy and Lisa Left.
Out went Jill And Suzy.
Why doesn't he use their vocals any more?
SUE and Sheryl Crow would be
Good W & L stand-ins!
It's long over Due for a reunion or W & L CD!
(Revolution Baby Rock-n-Roll)

Anyone got the 411?
We all want a big hit again because
we want to relive the Hysteria & Pandemonium we experienced
when Purple Rain was Hot. Actually, he doesn't care if it happens again or not.

Sheryl actually hangs out alot with Sus and the girrss...

Sus is married to the ten times fine Doyle Bramhall..They often tour and I would recommend everyone checking them out...

As far as a reunion...I'd like to hear what wendy, lisa and Prince could come up with...one weekened, the three of them...no interuptions...no discussions...any communication would be done via song or instrument playing...

DAMN!! THE drama that would unfold within that music...NOBEL WORTHY!!!

Interestingly enough, there was a juicy rumor floating around the last Xenophobia night that Wendy and Lisa were going to be surprise guests during that night's performance. No truth to the rumor, of course, but you should have seen how everyone in our section of the audience got excited. I, for one, would love to see those three perform together again. Big Rat's Ass here, baby.

You can see Susannah on the Roger Waters In The Flesh tour DVD. She's one of the back-up singers. She still looks good!

have u ever seen them live? i have, and they sing great live...if odd nuanced vocal executions arent your style, wendy and lisa arent for you..if you prefer your singers simplistic and over dramatic...enjoy Whitney, Celion or sadly Prince recently...

They were always very good singers and songwriters. I'll never know why they couldn't get a label to keep with them. I wish they would come back to N.Y.C.

I would love to see Prince perform with the revolution again. I really like Wendy and Lisa and Bobby Z.
But didn't all the members end on a bad note with Prince?

Not putting this band down because they are good but The Revolution was the Best Band Prince ever had and it should never had been DISBANDED. And the Family and Madhouse WERE GREAT!!! Alan Leeds WAS a great tour manager. I'm so glad Eric Leeds is back with Prince he's great! I wish Prince got the REVOLUTION back . It was So cool when they were all performing together. That was a great fun time.

No, this is surely not '84 but maybe this is about timeless musical magic? Have you ever heard the NPG cutting such galactic tracks like "17 Days", "Power Fantastic", "4 the tears in your eyes" or "In all my dreams"? "Diamonds and Pearls" or "o-+>" are surely good albums - but for me they will NEVER have the same musical importance and qualitiy like the Revolution-Period did.

I Don't know if Wendy, Lisa, Bobby, Mark and Fink could EVER share again the musical power as they did in the past. Maybe they will, maybe not. But as you can see by some opinions in this thread and as far as I can guarantee you from my musical heart, ONLY the HOPE that they COULD gives me a LOT and makes my ASS A BIG RAT ONE

You got to be kidding!!! Go back to any of the performance of the Purple Rain era especially the live broadcast of Baby I'm A Star on MTV. Those women were so off-key it was terrible.

Again you guys are giving Wendy and Lisa to much damn credit!!! All of the songs you mentioned were written, composed and performed by Prince. Prince was rocking long before Wendy and Lisa and he is still rocking today. You all are being sentimental because he ruled during that period and I guess it made you all proud to be Prince fan.
That was almost 20 years ago move on!!! Prince has...

you seem rather bitter about Wendy and Lisa? whats your issue with them? razz

Lisa plays piano on Power Fantastic...Prince stuck her in another room all by her self..it was at the *peak* of their fighting...and i know *I* can feel lisa's pain within her playing...In All My Dreams? Wendy and Lisa are all over that song...

you might want to do some more homework on the Revolutions involvment in creating Prince's music..Same goes for the first couple NPG bands...there was def. an air of collaboration...even Prince admits that..

And the song blows like a wind tunnel. Bad example to make a case for colloborating with them again. Same goes for that "Splash" or "Slush" or whatever the name of the that Revolution song was from the 2001 NPGMC.

If you knew what you were talking about at all you'd know that Power Fantastic started off as a song called "Carosel" written by Wendy and Lisa. And 17 Days was also composed by them with Prince as well. So maybe you should do your research next time before you get so passionate about your answer. WENDY AND LISA HUNG THE FUCKING MOON!!! Sorry, it had to be said. smile

I know you ain't saying that All my Dreams sucks. That is classic Prince, granted you're probably listening to "Freaks on this Side" right now, but C'MON!! Seems like you can't keep up with the artistic side of The Revolution, namely Wendy and Lisa. I don't see how people DON'T see what they did for his music, the 3 of them together are untouchable.
