I'm a 24 year old male, and I've been a fan since I was 3 years old. Seeing "Purple Rain" did it 4 me, as my parents were big Prince fans at one point, and I've been a fanatic ever since! I remember going 2 see "Under the Cherry Moon" at the theater here in Detroit (after bugging my mother 2 death about it) and saw "Sign O the Times" at the theater with my father. I remember when turned 5, I had a Prince birthday party. My momther had found this Parade tour poster and hung it up in the basement, and had a picture of Prince drawn on my birthday cake. Those pictures are at my grandmothers house somewhere, and I'd love 2 share them! Imagine being in elementary school, talking ALL DAY about Prince 2 anyone who would listen. I also remember my mother taking a magic marker and drawing "clothes" on Prince on the "lovesexy" cassette cover. I remember her not letting me and my brother watch the "Scandalous" video cause she felt it was 2 sexual... I'm sorry! I didn't mean 2 go down memory lane on ya'll!
