I'm 34 years old and heard that special song on the radio in 1984. It was indescribably different and didn't seem to be from this world. The song I'm talking about is "When doves cry" and it is safe to say that this one blew my mind. The first album I bought was "Around the world in a day". The first concert I went to was in Frankfurt, Germany - 1987, Sign 'o' the times. Although I'm not as 'fanatic' as I used to be, I'm still very excited hearing new music from the man or seeing him on stage (e.g. SNL, Brit Awards).
