I have a hunch:
As fans of the little guy, we're going hear the new album and go, "Wow, nices tunes! God, he's really got it going on on this record..." and stuff and such like. We will be as positive and and critical as we have been over the many many years...

...however, because, it seems, it is Prince's "turn" the press and media at large are going to jump all over this album and "make it a hit" regardless of quality simply because of the "dues" they owe Prince and the machine that is Universal.

I think there will be many in the org who enjoy this new albu less than some others of recent year, some more. I think that we will rationally point out the "new" innovative Prince and same old, same old entertaining Prince we;ve got used to; but, because of "revolution" or whatever, this album will be a hit because the music media deign to make it so...

even though Rainbow Children will probably be a more adventurous album and Musicology a more commercial one (that's a guess, I've not heard the new album only read the reports).

That said.... a hit means more P on TV, which can never be a bad thing.
