PrintableIf you watch the Tavis Smiley performance of 'Reflection' again skipper, you'll notice that Prince glances over at Wendy twice during the song - and upon the 2nd time of doing so (during the line: 'Sometimes I just wanna go out (...you know what I mean) ...and play my guitar' they both smile knowingly. In fact Wendy watches Prince a lot throughout this whole performance, smiling often. It's really touching, and one of my favourite performances/Prince 'moments' that afforded me a whole new appreciation of that song.

I think he does acknowledge her, but subtly. She does always seem to look at him fondly and think that's really sweet. Generally I get an overall feeling of understanding between them. Look at Purple Rain where she kneels by him as they're both playing the guitar. There's real chemistry between them and total eye contact. Shut up already, damn. | |

Levi ain't loving Prince these days. When his contract ran out, Levi said that Prince owed him money for songs he claimed he helped write. Still think that there is a legal battle pending. __________________________________________________

For a guy that wrote "In This Bed I Scream", its very likely that Prince would have gotten too emotional if he had made too much eye contact with her. He is a private person. Since Wendy was there and invited, its only natural to believe she was there because things are cool between them. After the success of the Musicology tour, Prince does not need W&L around just to make cash. Prince is obviously not very predictable. People express emotion in all different kinds of ways.
