SOTT dvd? Could someone remind me which is the better copy, is it the Canadian 'Alliance' or the Euro 'Network'? | |

If you get the Canadian version, make sure your dvd player can play NTSC, otherwise get the Network version which is PAL.
NTSC is slightly lower resolution than PAL - but the audio is more accurate, PAL playing very slightly faster and therefore a bit squeakier, from what I've been told. | |

Don't bother with the "Network" version unless you play it on your computer with WinDVD or whatever software that has "PAL Truspeed"... 2006 and they're still too retarded to create decent DVD's... Neversin. [Edited 2/18/06 7:28am] O(+>NIИ<+)O

Thanks people, I'm in the UK and my dvd plays all regions so maybe the Alliance sounds like the better option, is Amazon Canada the place i can get this at a decent price? | |

I could be wrong, but 'all regions' does not mean your dvd player can play NTSC and PAL dvds. Region applies to the area it comes from, not the format. I'd still check your dvd player manual to make sure! Amazon.ca is probably the safest place to make sure you get the right version, don't know about cheapest... | |
