I think the song would be better if Prince removed all references to 2the9s.

Prince must have been really smitten with 2the9s when he wrote that song.

It should be called "Love bkw". It sounds so much better that way! biggrin

When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

This song is in my personal Prince top 5, a definite masterpiece. Granted I'm not crazy about the rap stylings of Mr. Tony M either, but the transition from the love ballad section to the funky rap section and then back to the love ballad part again is just amazing. Only Prince could pull off these kind of transitions in a pop song. And Prince's vocals in this are incredible. Musically, this song is one of his best.
