But as the movie Purple Rain implies...abuse is a cycle that is very hard to break out of. My father wasn't abusive physicaly to my mother but he was VERY verbally abusive so I guess in a way subconciously I have always been drawn to that type of man. Maybe that is why I feel such a connection to Prince. Seeing that movie was shocking in that his parents seemed to mirror my own. Like they were always screaming their heads off at eachother and the only time they were nice to one another when they were wasted making out on the couch. Kinda always been attracted to a man like Prince I guess....obviously we know he can kinda be abusive to women. I'm not putting Prince down...I absoulutly adore him...but with women...yeah I don't know if he is exactly the kindest man out there...but yeah...ummm...that's all I am gonna say about THAT. 
But my point is to someone who isn't used to abuse it doesn't make alot of sense. | |
