Purple Rain is a bullshit choice.

I mean I love the song, but damn can he not play anything else? That's what folks who don't know the millions of songs in his catalog are going to say.

He is not a one-hit or one-album wonder so why does he act like he is? If his best music is 20 years ago, he should be in the audience not on stage. He does not have trot out this song that he has played ad nauseum.

I'm still hoping the earlier rumor of WDC, 17 Days, and Fury turns out to be true.

But really he lacks the angst to be playing his older hits with justice (so he better not fuck up 17 days).

I'd just be satisfied if he blazed the stage with Fury.

17 Days is my absolute favorite Prince song.
If he does it I hope it lives up to my expectations (never heard him do it live)!
Love the idea of the all girl VIP band (except ditch the Australian twins-Wendy & Susannah would be acceptable).

Can't wait to watch this later on a fellow Prince fansite.
