Prince One Nite Alone Tour

Does anyone think there is any chance that Prince will bring his current One Nite Alone tour anywhere like Australia or somewhere else that he hasn't been for a long time, since this is a "World tour"?

Any comments welcome as I am just wondering what everyone else thinks.

Well... I wouldn't hold my breath on the issue of Prince coming to Australia. I would love him to, it has been about 10 years, so yea, a tour here is long overdue.

However, I just don't see it happening in the near future... but who knows, he may just surprise us smile

I was listening to the Buffalo soundcheck boot and someone asked Prince if he was planning on coming to Europe. He answered something to the effect that it was in the works, but the offer he had didn't pay him enough money so he had made a counter-offer.

So I guess this means that if the right promotor does not come to bat with enough money Prince isn't going to go to Europe.

... yes I posted this same response in another thread, but I thought that it was probably relevent as to whether Prince would be going elsewhere in the world too.

Well, he might just do a couple of shows in Australia. The sales on The Rainbow Children CD were fairly decent in that region. I think he may have even had a semi-hit in Japan.

It would be very expensive for him, though. And he would probably have to charge about the same for tickets as he has been charging. Tickets in the U.S. and Canada ranged from about $85 all the way up to $150.

I've got the Chicago show on cd and it just blows his recent tours away. I do hope he brings it down to Australia as I've been waiting over 10 years since the last one. But if he does decide to do Australia, it all depends on fitting in places like Japan at the same time.

HE BETTER COME TO JAPAN !
TRC sold very well in Japan, I am pretty sure he
will hit Japan after Europe, maybe even before !!
Tickets in Japan are always over $100 so it won't
be anything different to what they are used to.
