Haven't watched the video in about 15 years (whew!)..

There's a little fat kid who appears at the end of the Baby I'm A Star performance at the 85 AMA's or Grammies or whatever the hell they are. I don't know if its the same kid/performance you're talking about but whenever I see him I have an overwhelming desire to pinch his cute little cheeks!

From memory his name is in the credits only I can't remember the name!

his name is Dominic.
Dominic and his parents lived next door to Prince on Kiowa Trail(purple house). Prince used to pay "little Dominic" to wash his cars. Dominics father used to be Princes tour bus driver,hence Dominic appearing onstage at the 1985 Grammys and the Syracuse concert. | |

i couldn't stand watching that kid. i mean i know he was excited about being on a stage with a famous person, but when that line of people walk up those steps and he stays there with prince and holds out his hat (like anyone in the audience would have wantted it), i just thought, stop f**king around and get back in line you little shit.

I used to always laugh at that little chubby kid w/the hat
as he would try to break dance...hilarious! I figured he was the kid of one of Prince's employees or something.. Stand Up! Everybody, this is your life!
