When I came to the org today on the front page it had a picture from a video/song called 2 WHOM IT MAY CONCERN (1992)
I have never heard of this song,let alone the video, so I am hoping a clever cookie can tell me the history of it

All I know is its a track on the "My Name Is Prince" CD single. Its a promotional track for the symbol album. i havent listened to it for a while but from memory its Prince rapping about how 'fonky" the album is interspersed with samples from songs on the album. I think it ends with Prince saying something like "The fonky new album entitled *shhhling*(sound effect) from Prince and the New Power Generation available on Warner Bros CD and cassette".....which is kind of funny. Its probably very non-cred of me, but I love the track. Apart from Sexy MF, which was released here well before the album, it was the first sample ( literally ) I'd had of the symbol album - they played a clip of the video for the song on some TV show while they were talking about the new album. The video looked cool, Prince had something covering his face I think, a veil or the chains from the "my name is Prince video' I can't remember.

The video is a fully produced video - albeit a rather cheap one. It's set in a night club with Prince as the DJ spinning the samples of the album. Levi, DJ Bros Jules and the Gameboyz are dancing around doing some of their trademark moves etc. It's kind of cool in an el-cheapo way

u can see the video of it at launch.yahoo.com. It's listed as "Commercial" under the Prince videos. Has video samples of the songs and stuff. Just a commercial for the album.
