I have NEVER understood the idea that Prince in some way stopped being sexual in his music/lyrics.

honestly, some of favorite and least favorite Prince jams have been vulgar...
it depends on the song, "P Control," for example is gloriously and unrepentantly explicit while "Tell Me How U Want 2 B Done" avoids the word "ass"... what makes a man want to rule the world?

He hasn't toned down the sex thing, he's just gotten more tasteful in his descriptions of it. So he doesn't say "fuck" any more? Big deal. He's still quite sexual.
