I, like a lot of you, I should imagine, have just received an email from NPG about Beautiful, Loved and Blessed. It informs me that the song is going to be on both Tamar and Prince albums.

Ahem.

It's just this sort of thing that's beginning to irk me with Prince.

Download song... no wait long enough, they'll get a release... if he can put a deal together... so better buy the download.

Now we've got a Prince project, a Tamar project, but they're mixed and matched. It's all just a bit annoying.

Langebleu, D'you know, I had much the same thought earlier on today as I was wondering about town.

Perhaps there are two versions, the one of 3121 emphasising Prince's contribution to the song, and hopefully including more of that splendid funky guitar he performed on SNL, and vice versa for the Tamar thing. That, IMHO, would be acceptable.
