a non-prince fan friend of mine who plays guitar had this to say about the snl appearance.
That first tune absolutely rocked. It has a great Prince vibe and seemed to channel a perfect mix of Robert Cray/Jimi Hendrix/SRV. i didnt think about the robert cray influence, but since he mentioned it, i totally see that. | |

Okay has anyone caught the cryptic message
said at the end of the SNL performance?  guess it means his new albulm 3121 will be released March 21st and Beautiful loved and Blessed will be released May 2nd?

What do u think it means? i did not find it too cryptic, but the message i got was that tamar's album - which i am guessing is a prince album with tamar singing - will be released may 2nd and 3121 march 21. also a reference to molly shannon - "superstar" | |
