I've been reading a very loooong discussion about the fact that "Prince" - "Does not move" in his lastest video...Can he still dance?? I don't mean like in the Purple Rain days. LOL..(Watch Disc 2 of the 20th anniversary dvd and C what I mean)..Unbelievable.Stamina!!!!!BUT the rumors R out there.....

All about those 4"high boots (even with diamond studded heels) they still kill your feet and legs over time. The hip problems and about him hurting his leg on one of his tours after jumping off the stage. Prince live at the Aladdin Las Vegas 2003 was slow 4 Prince,( The Suit was fabulous tho).....Then in Prince . Live from Los Angeles .. Musicology Tour 2004, He actually sang 4 songs, including Little Red Corvette sitting on a chair in the middle of the stage. What's up with that??

We expect him 2 dance and move aroundlike be4 but I think those days R behind us. He is a very private guy and does not have 2 share his medical records with his fans... I'm just satisfied that he is still writing "New" songs 4 all of us 2 enjoy...And I hope he does it 4 a very long time!!!!!

As far as him sitting during the Musicolgy tour, that was the acoustic part of the set. That just made sense for that type of performance. Was the highlight of the concert for alot of people.

check it out, i was watching prince's relatively immobile performance on snl and thought that maybe that is why he's better on guitar than ever before, thats good, i'd take better art over showmanship.

I happened to rewatch the performance at the Grammy's 2004 and Prince spins and dances VERY WELL during Baby, I'm A Star! What the heck are all of you talking about??

It's less of his performances and videos, as of late, but the whole concept has been musicianship.

I never really got what was so special about his dancing - I was very entertained by it as a kid, but I mean every move is pretty much there in Purple Rain, everything else was just repetitions - it's not Prince is a trained ballet dancer, he just does a few spins and twirls in time to the music.

Sometimes you see MJ fans trying to score points by saying MJ is a better dancer than Prince, and I think 'Who cares?',,,, If the dancing is what you're scoring points on, go nuts, he can have ALL the dance points on the score card, since it's of less importance than the swim-suit category, and Prince wins out in every other category by a land-slide.

Oh God - Mike Haggers saggy swinging arm flab was scary, he could've glided quite a distance with those had he jumped from a high spot.

PRINCE NEVER COULD DANCE... lets look at some facts

fact one: that stuff you call dancing on the little red corvette video when he is in jeans is actually the first video proof of Prince's Hip injury. That spinning around that looks like break dancing is actually a painful reaction to his hip coming out of joint and his attempts to "pop it back in"

Fact two: Prince is a clutz... case in point... sliding under Cat in Hot THINg from sign of the times was merely an uncontrolled effort to stop himself when he ran so fast on stage his little legs could not keep up. we have all had this happen. PROOF... what y'all think is a cool gesture of ripping off Cat's skirt as he passes under her legs is actually history's first WARDROBE MALFUNCTION as since prince had problems stopping himself while sliding (its in the Hahn biography) the skirt accidentally ripped off in his hands.

Fact Three: Ever seen a cat run and bum into shit... what do they do? they pretend nothing happend and saunter off all confident. Case in point... Diamonds and Pearls Video... Prince tries to negotiate a simple hop over a backless couch... he stumbles and falls backwards unto the couch in an effort to get one of those ribs away from rosie gaines and fortunately because the springs are new and he is light he pops back up.... but wait... a truely graceful person would land on their feet.... prince fucks even this up by accidentally losing traction in his heels and his legs clumsily part and due to his fear the body's natural reaction is to tense up in the groin area thus he comes back up.... note the cat like confidence he has as he spins after the acciental split because he is disorented.

Fact four: at the begining of that same video he cannot even turn a corner like the rest of us as photographers chase him.

Fact Five: Arsenio Hall show (Daddy Pop) and that whole area dancers begin to have to resort to picking him up by the hips as he falls into an accidental summersault. the rest of us can do a summersault without assistance... the only reason that he uses guy dancers now instead of Cat is because he needs a man;s upper body strength to pick his clumsy ass up.

Fact Six: Rave 2000 show... prince is smart enough to lay a carpet down where he knows he will consecutively fall 14 times.

fact seven: canes... why would u use a cane and not need one.... plus... the hahn book goes into Prince Not paying for the making of these canes.... why??? cuz the canes STILL can't keep his ass from tipping over.

NOPE we all simply have assumed that those moves are intentional when in reality they are well covered stumbles and mishaps.

one last thing.... Opening of Hall of Fame 2005... after his solo on Sign of the times he is so disoreinted he realizes he needs to regain his balance and either fall down or chuck the guitar... he throws the guitar and what does he do.... he spins and is so obviously old and suffering from and inner ear infection that he finds himself stopped and facing the band and not the audience... what a retard! he even sort fo says NO NO NO to his band...in an effort to make them act like nothing happend and pretend it was all intentional.

and a other thing... what type man that is supposed to be light on his feet lets a little thing like troy baer (spelling) throw him against the wall in that sexy MF video
