Prin ce played most of it and as usual he had Clare come in a use his orchestra here and there. listen to it. it's clearly synth patches. I'm not disagreeing ... but I'm damned if I'm going to put myself through listening to it again to verify how much was synthetic. . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

It has some great pieces of music! "Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system" - Bruce Lee

Well, sound effects is one thing...but scissor sound effects in a song named "Cutz" is pure cheese. Sorry Prince...you're a genius but the breadth of your work does show that you're human. I love classical music but Kamasutra was dull dull dull.

I like that piece that sounds like a "godfather" theme. I like the "scissors" one, it hurts too hear it in good headphones. I hate the ones that are all flourishes and fluff, I can't make dramatic sense of them. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

There's one track (I forget which one) that sounds like Danny Elfman, something I had been hoping for since the Batman era, but I only listen to the rest of it once every few years.
Maybe the scissors were another Danny Elfman/Tim Burton homage.

Calling it 'classical music' is insulting to classical music. It is crappy even by Princes very low self indulgent mid 90s standards.
