I completely forgot about the Tamar album. When it is released, I will surely buy it, but I think a release date hasn't been confirmed yet.

Well I'm definately getting 3121! No question!

I'm still not certain about Tamar's yet but Beautiful, Loved and Blessed is helping sway me.

As for the Ultimate Prince. I doubt it, I have pretty much all of it already. However, if someone buys it for me as a gift I wouldn't turn it down.

As for remastered albums: I would only care about those if they included a second CD/DVD with B-sides, extended versions and/or videos for the re-release.

I can definitely understand not wanting to fork over dough for stuff you already have. However, I think this just *might* be a step toward seeing remastered albums in the future. It's obvious that several of these songs wouldn't appeal to the average consumer (i.e. extended 12" versions)... I think this compilation is a way for them (Prince & Warners) to test the waters and see if Prince fans are willing to put their money where their mouth is when it comes to remastered albums.

In that aspect, this compilation makes perfect sense to me. Prince's Warner catalog consists of a lot of albums. I don't think either party would waste time putting effort into remastering a huge project like that knowing only a few hundred folks are going to buy it.

I like to collect Prince music, so for me it doesn't matter. If it's for sale, I'll buy it. Some people coins, me Prince.

I'm buying both of them. March is going to be a kickass month.

Ultimate Prince: I will wait and see what other orgers say about it and let the price be my final call on the matter. If the price and content are alright, I will pick it up.
Tamar's album: I liked her with Prince tonight, but I'll have to check out more of the songs before I decide one way or the other.

I'm soooo excited for 3121, track 1 from SNL is the best Prince track since stuff from The Gold Experience. w00t
