To be a true poser you need something that takes skill. Poser guitar player or skateboarder..can't play geeetar..can't skateboard. To be a hardcore prince fan - buy up all the releases, read uptown, keep in touch with what Prince is doing, go to every show possible..it takes money, not much skill. Maybe some reading skill!
I'm just glad some of these folks are able to experience the music...hell some of them may even become more of a bad ass fan than you, I, whoever. Just because I'm lazy ass mofo that has good taste (I buy up all Prince music I can!!) doesn't make me any better than some sucker that doesn't, IMO. Some of these fols are in transition. The other jackass discussion would be who is the biggest fan! Someone said that to me while waiting in line to buy tickets...its like WTF!! Get some psychotherapy.
