We need Prince at this year's BRIT Awards

Wouldn’t it be great if Prince did this year’s Brits!?

The man is on fire at the moment, and he’d blow the roof off.

He deserves the gig as I’m sure he’s the won the most “Best International Male” awards ever (although not for a while…) It would be the perfect platform to launch 3121 proper over here.

It seems a bit of TV exposure is a guarantee of chart success these days – please note Ordinary Boys and Dead or Alive(!) in this weeks Top5 all due to Celebrity Big Brother, and the strong chance that the fictional Kandyfloss will hit the top before long. So I say get thee over here and show the Brits a REAL performance!

…and an intimate gig with Tamar wouldn’t go amiss whilst we’re at it!

Oh yes ....we'd love to see Princey at the Brits. Not sure what happened to the rumour that he was gonna appear with the Pussycat Dolls.

Has that been scrapped ?? eek

P & PCD? I hadn't heard that rumour...

Not exactly credible, but would get him noticed by sub-teenage girls I suppose.

I'm pretty sure that he cleaned up International Male in the late 80s... have to go fact finding.

OK Inbetween Michael Jackson winning Best Intl Male and the odd year when there was just an Intl Solo Artist award, our Princey has won the following Brit Awards (according to the Brits website!)...

1985
International Act - Prince & the Revolution
Soundtrack - Purple Rain

1990
Soundtrack - Batman

1992
Best International Male - Prince

1993
Best International Male - Prince

1995
Best International Male - The Artist

1996
Best International Male - The Artist

...so he kept winning much later than I'd thought. About time for another!
