Did anyone else catch this on VH-1 this afternoon (& probably aired throughout the weekend)? Prince has written/given a song to that old '80s band Huey Lewis & the News called "On a Dime." It will be on their next studio album. Huey was quoted as saying "it's a really soulfull chugger of a song."

Really I didn't think Huey was recording any more. I really liked him in Short Cuts and my Mom loves him. Alright Prince . Alright Huey. This is really cool.

The band released an album a year or so ago, I think. And they still sell out shows often enough. Although I think his last hit was that song Cruisin with G. Paltrow.
