I am very dissapointed that the Days of Wild CD was not made available to all NPGMC attendees to the Xenophobia Celebration. I believe that it is unfair that only members who were ABLE to stay for the LAST day received the "gift". In the end we all paid the same amount of money therefor we should have been entitled to the same products/services. Now, someone is selling their copy of the CD on EBay with a price so far of about 40 bucks (of which the sellers minimum price has not yet been reached).

After politely requesting "my" Days of Wild cd due to my absence on the last day... Paisley Park simly responded that there are no plans to distribute the Days of Wild CD.

Whataripoff.

In a way I dont feel that I am missing anything... after all- listening to Days of Wild without the profanity is not as much fun. It has lost the edge in it's new Disneyfied version.

PS: But I still think that it should have been given to everyone who attended (at least they could have sent in the mail to ensure that all who purchased tickets on the web for the week received it).

The CD was also sold for $5 in the NPGMC shop. I saw someone buying over ten copies. Maybe they are selling it at eBay...

I agree with you that the CD should be made available to everyone who attended the Celebration. But the way handing out the CD was set up makes it impossible to find out who received one and who didn't.

Eye agree they should have gave every1 a copy of the CD, not just the ones who were there on the last day. Eye wasn't at the celebration but it's still wrong!

Judging by the money being shelled out on eBay for these CDs... I wonder what the price should have been set at in the NPGMC store...

Personally, I am very happy that a free CD was handed out at the Celebration, why not? It is a wonderful souvenier to keep, and I definately am not letting go of mine.

actually, what would be truly fair is for the cd to be made available for all members, not just the ones who were fortunate enough to go to the celebration. a lot of us have too many obligations to travel 1500 miles for a week long show.
granted, i'm sure it was the bomb and i would have loved to have been there myself, but i just couldn't. i'm sure that many others were in the same boat with me. it doesn't mean we are any less dedicated in seeing our favorite musician doin' his thing (i've been to minni four times in the past 10 years and i live in houston).
now a note to them fools who bought up the extras at the park...
i think anybody fortunate to go, be there for the incredible setlists that were played, and sh..t, just have a fu..in' vacation, but then turn around and gouge their fellow fams by taking advantage of their emotions on e-bay ought to be ashamed. if the less fortunate don't at least get to order the cd through npgmc because too many people bought 10 and 20 copies for this purpose, then it ain't no different from scalping tickets.
there is a special place for folks like that, and like jerry seinfeld once said, "maybe not hell, but you're gonna run into some pretty bad dudes".
note to anyone who just wants a recording of it...
orgnote me and i'll tell you where you can find it. there is one download i know of that allows you to get the whole thing as one track, so there are no breaks in the flow...
one last thought... maybe if enough of us e-mail npgmc and show an interest in the purchase of the single, they will make it available. it is probably going to all be part of the live cd anyway, but a lot of people want the official thing for their collection and all. also, we should be quick to let them know that a lot of fams are being ripped off on e-bay. if they are shown that there really isn't much difference between this and ticket scalping (which they have addressed), then maybe they'll take action...

i got so wrapped up in my fellow fams being ripped of that i got the two newest recordings mixxed up. the "dow" can be found on winmx. it is just one track. the 5track is the one i was referrring to that can be found as one track...

being in new zealand i wasnt able to atttend and therfore cant get the single, even tho im a member, but i dont care beacuse, these things always surface one way or another whether on alater release, which will no doubt bring about much whingeing from some lucky enough to have recieved one, or u can download it so to those who got given one im pleased 4 u and dont begrudge it. well all get it soon enough
