Girlie? Hummm? Well, 2 think of him from back in The Dirty Mind days, 2 today, he has always been very attractive 2 me no matter how he dressed. I think he has always looked Clean, and a little feminine, but in an atractive way, and an expressive way. He has always looked like a Prince 2 me. Annastasa+ Peace

his style is unique but seriously i don't think i would ever have a guy who dresses like a girl. it's one thing to be a bit feminine but it's another to dress like a girl. i can never tell my parents that i like the music of a guy who looks like a girl on purpose. lol.

What is wrong with a guy that looks girlie or wears "women's clothing"?
Women wear "men's clothing" all of the time. It can't go the other way? What's wrong with colred hair? Or men wearing earings? Or men with long hair?
Oh no! Don't be too feminine now.
Don't want to be mistaken for... a girl.
The whole thing is silly. It is SO natural for a human to want to wear any thing they want to put on their body.
Why are ppl so restrictive of what they think ppl should or shouldn't wear?

just my opinion, of course.

the best solution is if we all went nude, but alas we won't.

Nah! He looks uniquely Princey. He is still one of the only artists out there that dares to dress that way. Shows balls (especially when he wears tight pants!) lol

I don't think he dresses too feminine for me. The only time I thought it was over the top was in the mid-90's with the make-up but even then I thought that only HE could do that like I always did and that's why I admire him a lot. He marches to the beat of his own drum and doesn't care what anyone else thinks about it.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I dig the way he's been dressing 4 the most part...if its Parade JOTY, Hit N' Run, etc..I can't remember another artist whos over all stage presents looks sharper cleaner or more one of akind then Prince's.

U can't fade him in his all White outfit, or his Black or Red...From head 2 toe, his sense of style seems 2 flow close 2 perfect at times. His style is on another level leaving all others behind.

Not many men can get away with wearing Purple Peach or Yellow...but with Prince, U learn 2 just get used 2 that funky fellow. Mixed with hair thats short or long, with his boots hats & hip chains, U know he feels that he got it goin on. I think this brotha knows how 2 work it for the woman while never lookin plain. Who else made eye liner cooler then the man who stared in Purple Rain.

I always admired different aspects 2 the Prince dress code.
Some may have been wild and others bold. From leg warmers 2 Lovesexy dots...his mysterious ways of dress says alot. As does his creative music making and his mind blowing musician ship. Why not have a colorful fashion flair added 2 the mix. Prince is only being true 2 "self" pullin no strings or trix~

Having comfort with who he is & in touch with his soul a "Prettyman" yes, but girlie like shirley...hell naw*

Like Prince said on the Gold Experience " Putting on clothes that another won't dare!" He has always been an individual and that makes him what he is, The best Talent around. He always has been different and always will, that is what we should love about him!

A lot of ppl like prince music but not his image. My Girfriend can not look at him, she says he dresses likes a girl and acts like a battyman LOL...her exact words.
To be honest, she has a point, but i think he looks cool. Its cool that he does not act like a macho. Its all about the music...and his clothes match his music.

Just let me state that Prince's thinking and how he relates 2 woman is "underrated". Thats what makes "If I was Your Girlfriend" such a tight deep track.

His ways & insight gets put down by some men who feel being macho rules over that Purple vibin stuff. The way he dresses or looks in general is a problem 4 alot men who are weak minded or limited.

I can watch MTV and see more people playing follow the leader in terms of how they dress. They only feel safe wearing something deemed kool by the "pop" culture. And seeing everyone dressed in the same style don't make U feel as if your seeing something fun different or unique.

Its rather refreshing seeing a person like Prince wear what he does. Taking chances & risks is what hes been about from the start. I think standing alone 4 what U may feel is a worthy cause (keepin it real) beats the macho frame of thinking. And Prince has lead the way but don't get all the props he deserves.

Being in touch with your feminine "U" is a beautiful thing...I see nothing wrong with adding more 2 your plate and expanding ones mind. Theres a time and place for all types of thinking. And hey if being in touch at times gives me a better understanding of a woman... then I'm down with it...Theres alot we can all learn by being open minded and being daring at times.

The great ones walk alone...while everyone else walks behind shadows.

My sentiments exactly. Anyone heard that Madonna song, what is feels like for a girl? The opening line has something like this in it 'Girls can wear boots and (blah blah, dont know if this bits right), because its ok for them to look like a man, but if a man wears womens clothes then thats degrading, because being a women is degrading...' If some1 has the exact lyrics, would appreciate that. I don't know it exactly, but u catch my drift?

He looks like Prince Charming to me when he wears those
flowing outfits. Or maybe a prophet when he wore that
purple robe on the Rave DVD singing Purple Rain and The
Christ.

Either way, sometimes I visualize myself putting the
little one in my lap and rocking him to sleep. He
looks so sweet and cuddly.

Prince always seems to be making a statement with his clothing. "The 100% italian silk and imported Egyptian lace" he wears does sometimes look feminine, but if anyone can pull it off- it is Prince.

Speaking of fashion statements, does anybody remember the yellow getup he wore to a music awards show with the ass completely out? I'm not sure what he was saying with that outfit!

Does it matter? Wow...

It's all about Uptown baby: Our clothes, our hair, we don't care! It's all about being there!

I get pissed when I watch Jenny Jones and she says "My Friend Dresses Too Sexy"... Who is she to judge "sexy"? Sexy is an opinion. Tasty is an opinion. Style, for that matter, is an opinion.

A man that wears women's clothes may feel khakis are inappropriate...

That's my unintelligible rant for the day.

Listen, worm, u have your opinion, I have mine. Dont start telling me there is something wrong with me. U are probably a typical caveman beating chest man, who has no idea of the concept of feminity/masculinity in BOTH sexes. And actually, I dont wear the type of clothes and shoes u probably stereotype. Get, your, damn, facts, straight.

I think Prince is the sexiest man alive. He's Gorgeous and has a beautiful build. He looks so Great! But I would like to see him in casual clothes sometime like a pair of frayed jeans and a Fuschia Cowl neck sweater and Platform sneakers. Maybe with a funky hat. I know he just wants to be comfortable . I also would love to see Security in less Professional Attire. Maybe they could be wearing some casual clothes also like the style of Sean Combs. Less tight.

Haha...WTG Zthe9s! Vagina...give it up! I like the way Prince dresses...it's uniquely him. He wouldnt look good in those sneakers anyways...he doesnt DO SNEAKERS!!! And I also dont think that his security guards should dress any different. They are required to where those suits, it sets them aside from the rest of the crowd. And you never know, it might be easier for Prince to spot is security guards in the attire that they do wear. big grin

Besides, uniforms(in any job) are meant to help keep you focused on the job itself. People see you in the uniform and quickly know what you are there to do. If you worked at a retail store you might have a required shirt to wear so that customers know instantly that they can approach you for assistance. The same goes with Prince's security, we see them and know that no funny business will be tolerated and that we need to follow the rules. If you were Prince or any other famous person, wouldnt you want your security/body guards focusing on their jobs?! eek

LEAVE "THE MAN" ALONE Vagina and all others who wanna change him! This is Prince we are talking about! He will do whatever he wants and wear whatever he wants. I personally like the fact that he'll do things just to get a reaction! Too funny...too cool! cool

I like Prince...no matter what!

Nobody likes Prince more than I do and just the way you say he always does things to get a reaction and different things what makes you think he'd never do this? If even for a joke? Could very well happen someday. could very well happen. Prince!
