DAYS OF WILD (NPGMC Version) ex Montreal Does anybody have an opinion on that song?
I really love it and I think it is one of the best songs ever. But I think that there are too much post-recorded parts and post-editing on this version. Of course he can do whatever he like with his creation, but on the other hand I think he should've distribute the song in the genuine version. | |

Exactly! Days of wild is one of my all times Prince favorite but the overdubs are killing the song, he already did it with the Crystal Ball version, it doesn't add anything... Give us the raw sound! (and release the Bruxelles 1995 live version!  ) | |

I like the first version I heard/saw which was The Beautiful Experience TV Special. Fantastic. I take it that one did not have anything added to it? Just somewhere in the middle,

SOmetimes overdubs can work,. In this case, I think they distract from the live perofrmance. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

At first i didn't like the overdubs - they annoyed me!
But now they're kinda growing on me...backing vox and all. Hey...i'm just pleased that some live soundboard stuff is coming out...forget audience recordings - I WANT SOUNDBOARD!!!
