Does Circle Of Amour plagarize janis ian?

I was listening to an acoustic version of Janis Ian's old song, Seventeen, and noticed the guitar riff and singing style and verses were a lot like the Truth song, Circle Of Amour. Maybe I am imagining it. lol.
All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

No, you are not. Prince uses many inspirations for his music. In this case, he has, possibly, chosen an acoustic version of Janis Ians' old song. what can I say, Prince cheats sometimes.... Actually I don't know. I've not heard this Janis Ian song, but I would like to... I'm an old fraud. What can I say. The early part of this message is humouress, in the same way tha "Joey" was humouress.... If it falls beneath the actual standard of humour in your area, that's your fault not mine.

wow, i never thought about that... too simliar... Prince does that a lot i think although at the moment I can only think of 1 other example of that.

The drumming on Tick, Tick, Bang and Jimi Hendryx's Little Miss Lover. Blatant right there.

Never noticed it before but yes it does sound like Seventeen.
I never really liked Seventeen & until recently I wasn't too wild
about Circle of Amour. I think I'm back to not liking it that much.
Its gonna take me awhile to get Janis Ian out of my head.
