I was watching Rave Un2 the Year 200 last night.

The performance isn't bad, it's just the videotape is ugly, it's edited badly, and somehow it doesn't capture much of the excitement.

From Lenny on I think it's pretty good. The band loosens up and the music gets hotter, IMO.

There's a lot of shots of the crowd, were any Orgers in it?

YES and my brother is the male dancer featured during the show.

I know a guy who was there. He said they taped it on two different days? Anyway you can clearly see him dancing onstage when the Time was on. He is really cool and really nice.

it wasnt really a performance ...it was like PLAY a song...opps the floor is wet...mop it then tape the tune again...opps prince didnt like something take a 10 min break then he's back on and they try another take...it wasn't a LIVE show.

So maybe it DID translate to tape accurately. Like I said, much of it is good, but something's missing. Even though Live in Vegas doesn't have the same hits, dancing, the Time, etc, it's still more exciting.
