Best years What years do you think were Prince's best. I think all his years were good, but his best I think were: 78, 82, 84, 87, 92, 95

Actually all of the years have been pretty good... each one a little different... but always interesting... a new album... Cool!... Even the new stuff on the ONA CD is brilliant interesting music...

The 80s had that magic spark, when he was at his freshest and most inspired.
90s-now have seen him improve his overall skills, maintaining a high standard of work but with less innovation and less mainstream appeal.

I like all of his years, watching this man progress has been a pleasure. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

I would have 2 say '84 Purple Rain, '87-'92 Signs 'O' Times; Lovesexy; Batdance; Grafitti Bridge; Diamonds & Pearls & , '96 Emancipation & '99 Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic. That was the best years for him in my opinion those years his look was great as well as the music. But I must add that he's looking mighty good these days.

1980-1989, he was more creative with his recording then. Backwards messages, backward drum beats, funny inserts here and there, etc.

The 80's had the most prolific period of songs. But I got to say that I love the way Prince has grown with us as an artist over the years. Every album marks a period in his life and mine.
