Been listening to Musicology lately?

I don't know what it is, but I've been listening to Musicology quite a bit this last week. Might be a phase, since I'm anticipating "Black Sweat" and "Beautiful, Loved & Blessed." I just caught myself a few moments ago when I realized it.

Anybody else been spinning this record lately?

Nothing really inspires me to play the whole record and I only have the tracks "A Million Days", "On The Couch", and "Reflection" on my iPod. They're the only tracks I think are quality Prince songs.

I can't really play the whole thing straight through. "Life of the Party" and "What Do U Want Me 2 Do?" just interupt the flow. How come "The Marrying Kind/If I Was the Man in Ur Life" isn't more respected? That's some good shit.

Musicology (the song) still rocks in my opinion...and I can never get tired of Reflection either or Dear Mr. Man

I listened to Musicology the other day. It wasn't bad at all. It was good commuting music.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

It's a great album...It's P's Confessions on a Dancefloor IMO! Not his best, but not his worst!

The only week track there is ICPC!

Its not bad, but it could be better, the only songs that stick are Pimp Coma and Circumstance and the title track, the rest is quite droll. I am not too excited about 3121, I will be a boring old fart and go listen to Sign or Dirty Mind again.

Since my CD-player bust I've been forced to listen to my records with the CD-ROM drive of my PC for a while and I detest putting any CDs with added multimedia inside. The whole damn thing sounds like a helicopter when attempting to listen to those.

Musicology has had a few spins here lately. Might be anticipation of what's coming and fine tuning for the next CD.

I was listening to it on Thursday. Life of The Party is the only bad song on it.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

Yeah, I like that album.

Hey, I was watching Live at the Aladdin last night. Did anyone catch that, right before "1+1+1 is 3", Prince said, "I told you not to touch my...stereo"?
