on stage, and surrounded by short dancers, he can appear larger than life. being next to ordinary people who are much taller and larger than him would probably make him appear fairly elfin...

when he makes TV appearances, all of this can be controlled more or less.

Why would I want to be photographed with him anyway? Why would I want his name written on a piece of paper (except for selling it on ebay)?

And if the only reason you support an artist is because he'd be nice to you if you met him on the street, then hallelujah. It's about the music for me.
