Not just a good song,a standout album track or good choice of single. I mean when was the last time that Prince released a song that you consider a classic?

I Hate U is a Classic? U Have Issues...It's an ANTHEM of HATRED....

I like a lot of his stuff even up to recently but the last "great" song would be "In This Bed I Scream" and the last "great" album as a whole would be "Purple Rain".

"eye hate u"
was the first thing to come to mind
it's classic prince in so many different ways
and it's his last released song that really excited me
the single edit + guitar solo would've been perfect

and yeah, i like a lot of his newer stuff as well:
The Rainbow Children, Xpectation, N.E.W.S., "If Eye Was...," "Call My Name," several NPGMC releases, etc.

but "eye hate u" was the last time i really felt excited about a prince song

the individual track as well as the entire album. it blew me away.
still love it. it's the kind of album i will never ever tire of.



Also, eventho Musicology was imo a horrible album, the few good
tracks on it are very good, like "Reflection and A Million Days".

"Call My Name" is my favourite song from "Muzikologí"!!!

Baby Knows. This song just makes me crazy!

The last singles of his that blew me away were "A Million Days" (the only track on "Musicology" that I really liked), "Dolphin" and, before that, "Sign O The Times." As for album tracks, I really liked "Slave" because it sounded weird - one of the things that got me into Prince back in '84 was that his stuff sounded like nothing else.
