Anyone that's been following Prince for more than five years knows the next one is always the potential "return to form". TGE was billed as a return to form. TRC was considered by some a "return to form". Musicology was also called a "return to form", and with the Grammy nominations and the success of the Musicology tour, I am pretty sure that Musicology is now considered "Prince's return to form" by most of the mainstream press. Therefore the next one, if it's good enough, probably won't be called a "return to form", but they'll say something like "builds on the success of Musicology". If it's bad, maybe they'll call it "a return to norm"? [Edited 1/30/06 14:35pm] | |

A return 2 form? What form is everyone talking about?
Prince's music has always evolved, taking dips and dives and trips down different musical styles or expirementations. So again, what form is everyone hoping he will return to? The days of Dirty Mind and Controversey? The days of SIgn O the TImes /Lovesexy? Gimme a dam break. Whatever he puts out,,,roll wit it.. no matter what, there will always be a few tracks on the album that you will be diggin. I dont know what to expect w/3121, but Im excited just like I have been with each new release since 1984. Prince is the man and nuthin will change that. "even at the center of fire, there is cold,,,," Stand Up! Everybody, this is your life!
