Somehow I think this is still Prince in his purist most powerful form. This is him performing "Computer Blue" live a year before Purple Rain. It's fun to see the blank look on people's faces. They don't know what they're seeing, but they're captivated.

There's something great about the shows shot at First Avenue. Prince really looks comfortable. I wish I had a grainy show of Musicology shot there.

I fucking loved that Computer Blue performance...

Wish Prince would stop seeing his old self as competition and release at least the audiotrack of that performance...

I just never seen such a great version of that performance. I have a bad quality audio of the entire show, but I want the entire show on tape, in this quality...
