im definitely going to try and score some tix..... the last fillmore shows were awesome.....

but WHY cant we get tix thru the club? isnt that supposed to be one of the benefits?????

So is this the beginnig of his Tour? I know he's just jammimg but when the album drops will he be Touring?

Man, this is the story of my life. He's in San Francisco on 1/30, which is 8 days before I move up there to live. HARUMPH!

well, if i remember correctly,,, in 2004, the SF Fillmore shows were on February 14th and 15th, kind of warm ups for the tour which began very soon after. I think the Musicology tour started in april or may (?), so it shouldnt be too long (hopefully)!

Will he be here in Florida at Hard Rock? I will die....When and then oh MY God There are 4 Clubs he can hang out....Oh MY GOD.....OH MY GOD..... Folks will be watching Prince in SF, and I'll be stuck on my little rock in the ocean! Did I mention I just got transferred here after living near SF for 3.5 years?

I don't think this is the start of the tour at all, unless the tour is going to comprise of Tamar doing all the singing. Prince has already performed twice with Tamar, mostly just playing guitar, and I think this is just an extension of that. Read the reviews on the Associated Artists forum. It sounds quite amazing in a surreal 'Prince as a band-member' kind of way.

I'm guessing because it is not his event is the reason there won't be tix sold through NPG music club. He's a special GUEST

But midnight, on a monday? Damn, tuesday is going to suck.

This is not a phase of Prince that I'm use to. I know he's always had proteges, side projects etc, but I never paid them full attention.


So as much as I'd love to buy the ticket and see Tamar, I must admit that if I did that and Prince did little to nothing or even didn't show up I'd be pissed that I went through what would be MANY hoops to be there for an artist I don't really know yet as I'd normally only jump through hoops for Prince.


Before the "LISTEN TO OTHER ARTISTS WILL YOU? GEEEEEZZZZZ!!!!" comments start, this doesn't mean I won't listen to Tamar, it just means I'd travel to see Prince...not someone I'm not that familiar with...etc...

I just talked to Ticketmaster and the concert is at 11:59 pm on 11/30 which is technically 1 minute before 1/31 (tuesday morning)... not sunday/monday morning. ticket purchase limit is 2 tix (i hate that).
I'll be there! The last Fillmore concert was incredible. Even to be able to listen to him play guitar is worth the 31.21.
