I just purchased the live "Rave" DVD from amazon.com and was reading the reviews...
somebody wrote: "Prince dances, sings, plays guitar (underwhelmingly) all over this DVD, but it just feels like Prince has become a cheap, glitzy version of himself. And the "Jeebus" stuff gets real ridiculous real quick as well."

I'm guessing they meant to write Jesus...just a guess.

SenseOfDoubt

the term "Jeebus" was once used by Homer Simpson who did not know the nailed one was actually called "Jesus". (When he had to flee and became a missionary).

Jeebus is a slang term for Jesus. I should know. But why? The term Jeebus is a sudo term for Jesus often being used a semi "cuss" word.

Christstains will use the term instead of using jesus, some see calling out that name to be a bad thing unless they are using it in the "correct context" as in "in jesus's name I pray", so instead of misusing the term in such as way as "good god" or "jesus christ" "you scared the shit out of me" they will use the term Jeebus.

I have never witnessed prince using this term. I can only assume he as a JW now is falling under such dogmatic pratices. Or prehaps he's using it as a semi joke.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.
