Alexa De Paris... what's your fav Prince instrumental? Okay- it took me, what close to 20 years to find out what the most beautiful instrumental Prince ever did (IMHO)which was from the movie Under the Cherry Moon, when he was dancing with Kristen Scott-Thomas on the deck of the club and the music was playing in the background...
It's called Alexa De Paris!! It was the "B" side to "Mountains!" I am wondering if ANYONE has ideas on where I could find this?!? Also- what's YOUR favorite Prince instrumental?? "Isn't it a shame this aint the movies.. then U could re-write my every line."

The only place it's officially released on CD is the European version of the Letitgo CD single from 1994. My fave? Probably Venus De Milo from the Parade album.

To these ears, the track on that version also sounds slightly speeded up compared to the vinyl version, which runs slower. . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."
