D&P tracklist! Lot's of "?"

Apart from Horny Pony, what other outakes are from these sessions. Any alternate early configuration?

Did any be used on the O(-> album?

cool

different version. The production is more like Daddy Pop. And Tony M does all the rap. Prince stays in the background.... I think.

"Schoolyard" was recorded around this era,but I don't know if it was ever intended for the 'D&P' album.

i had a bootleg CD that was all D&P studio outtakes, but it was so crummy i got rid of it not long after. 'schoolyard' was the best thing on there, and i thought even that was lukewarm. the studio demo versions of the stuff that made it to the album sounded exactly the same, only in really bad sound quality. it was probably a ripoff...

I also had a bootleg supposedly containing the "alternate versions" of the D&P tracks, but there really wasn't that much of a difference. It was a rip-off.

That wasn't a ripoff! Those are cool outtakes to have, Live 4 Love is quite different... sure it's bootleg quality, but that was so mysterious back then..

eek They sound very different ("Willing & Able", "Live 4 Love", "Cream") ! In fact, in D&P's case the whole album really benefited from the over-production some people have criticized it for. The demos sounded quite tedious to be honest.

Actually that reminds me, where in THE HELL IS my demo version of "Cream"? I think I might have lost the mp3, I just realized that.
