When this first came out what did you think of it?

Remember the beginning when that girl is like to her boyfriend "I just wanna go to Minneapolis....I like the way I'm dressed and besides that's what Prince likes!" I love that sceane! Does anyone know who that lady was?

i was about 10 or so when the video came out and at the time my folks didn't have cable, so i didn't get to see it till at least 5 years after the fact. i didn't think much of it...'cept for the fact that it's a bit on the corny side:

"hey, what would you like?"
"i'll have a creeeeeam soda!"
"and i'll have the fresh strawberries...with creeeeeam..."


...the shit read like a horrid soft-core porn movie.

That was one of my favorite things about Prince...his lyrics and videos...I mean I guess they really were not expicit but the inuendo made me actually blush and giggle... .

With the porno music videos out now I feel nothing...I don't really find it sexy even...but that video still makes me kinda blush today like when Prince licks the whip cream off her finger and gives that little look....

Seriously this song changed my life, I havent recovered from it yet!!!

The intro bit is entertaining but almost painfully cheesy. The video itself is fairly decent though. Nothing spectacular, but it is sexy in a subtle way.

I actually met them in London once, release party for the D&P record. Some band members where there, and the two ladies (but no Prince).

They looked stunning, and I got them to sign the CD booklet

But no Cream ;=)

Love the cream video. The whole thing.. Hard to see little girls going ga ga for him now, though i met one teenager (early teen) who still found him really sexy.


I bet rosie was pissed off a little when she had to do scenes with tony m and the gameboyz. God knows how many times kirk had to bang damons head to get the right noise in that barber shop segment.

I thought it was cool and even suitably risqué (the hair pulling in particular). It was just good to see him back on top with a hit and a decent video.

Good video, but my favorite part was the beginning. Loved the hair and the pimp clothes. Yeah, Diamond and Pearl are 2 of the sexiest women I've ever seen. I was only 5 when I first saw them, but I had serious crushes on them for years. Beautiful.

This video was okay, but the video for Violet the Organ Grinder ..... I can't even describe how that sexy ass video makes me feel.
