I think your question is hard to answer....if he wasn't a celeb,and not even a musician...He'd probably not have the style he has now...which for me is "part" of the attraction....his hair would probably not look so great like we know it now so...that's a consideration....
so in my honest opinion I'd have to say I may not notice him like I would as the Prince we know today. BUT...if by chance say we bumped into each other in the grocery store or for some reason got to know eachother....I do believe I would find him and his physical being...FINE! His eyes would still be the same...his lips would still be the same, his body would still be the same.. oh yeah!
