I remember a few years ago when Prince appeared on the Larry King Show, Mr. King asked Prince about the rumored Miles Davis collaborations. Prince responded that they were tied up in the Davis estate and may never be released. I have the original tape of that show. When the show re~aired, I believe this section was omitted.
