What's the deal with Prince releasing 12 track albums these days.
With all the music he's recorded, he could at least put out an album with at least 14 or more songs.
I want to have a chance to enjoy a nice long album, not something that will play in my cd player for 30 mins.
Does anybody else feel the same?

Believe me, I'm doing that. But the back of my head tells me that they simply meant a little typo in one of the titles.

Count the tracks on Purple Rain, 1999, Controversy, Parade, ATWIAD, Come, Dirty Mind etc....

12 tracks ain't short for a Prince album.

Anyway, it ain't about the number of tracks so much as the quality therein.

I just love the old-school (30-40-50 minutes) single albums.
I can't see there's anything wrong with that.

My favourite records are mostly single albums.
