Will anybody every see these clips? Do they exist anymore? Did Prince really write in the script that his mother said"He was so pretty he should have been a girl? or was this Albert Magnoli? And there was a fight scene with Jellybean Johnson that was while Appolonia6 was rehersing. And their was a rape scene Did Prince write this? He was suppose to rape her from behind. And yeah the sex scene in the barn was cut out. Did Appolonia shoot these scenes? I remember the girls who were trying out in the casting call saying Prince made them swear they didn't have any boyfriends and they were shocked at what he wanted them to do. Prince was specific on what he was looking for . The girls had to be mixed race or Latino and a certain height.He still goes for the same type. I think women's groups didn't like the part with the hitting Appolonia and Morris throwing that girl in the Garbage.

I have a copy of the original script of 'Purple Rain'.This is an early draft with Vanity (not Apollonia) in the script.It contains some rather intense love scenes,and performances of the songs "Electric Intercourse" and "G-Spot".

B-movie? Prince won an Academy Award for the soundtrack . . . I think that might disqualify it as a B-movie!!

Plus, it made more than "a little extra" at the box office. The only reason it didn't get the royal DVD treatment is because Prince burned bridges with WB.

You can find the Purple Rain DVD anywhere, really . . . I know for a fact it's at Best Buy and Target. Best Buy keeps it fully stocked. And usually it's for $9.99.
