Paisley $7 concert?!?!?

I have heard through the mill that Prince will be putting on a $7 Paisley concert soon, has anyone heard about this? I also heard it's supposed to be on a Friday!

All Paisley shows are $7 or even free.

I'm not sure I would call them shows so much as free form jams.

Plus you never know...sometimes you drive all the way out there and they are cancelled or he only plays a few minutes, etc.

I wonder if he's going to keep doing the $7 concerts? It kinda seems unfair to charge his fams so much more to hear him play. NPGMC members pay $125 to $150 for a Prince show.

It's never stopped him before. The paisley shows aren't really concerts anyway, they are for lack of better word "jams".

Also does your post imply that we are not fans (I refer to use that stupid-ass term "Fams") here in Minneapolis?

So Mr. Chookalana tell me when the last weeknight or Saturday show was?

I'll tell you it was October of 1999. There have been parties on Saturdays, but I can't remember a performance on Saturday since the L4OA club days which is like 6 years ago at least.

We MPLS folks are lucky to have the opportunity for the $7 parties. But, don't get bent outta shape. They are VERY hit and miss. Many a nite I've driven out there stayed up till 5 am and paid to just see P sit behind the soundboard, you never know what you'll be getting when you go to Paisley.

PS- when he does play live, it's often to fine tune songs so when he does come to your town, they are good to go and worth the ticket price you pay. So, it all comes out in the wash.

peace

Ok ok kiddos point is besides a few Xeptions, PP parties are usually on a friday night, and they are usually $7 entry fees. whether He's gonna play or not...
I know it doesn't seem fair 4 people from out of town to pay $125 for a ONA show, but the point is, as previously said, Prince does like to try out his tunes in an intimate setting, one that won't judge or discriminate, One that will just B there 2 hangout and react 2 anything offered or not, no questions asked...
That's what it's all about... We here in Mpls are the sort of a
PrinceTestingDeviceThang, and we like it like dat... understand it or not... That's what the L4OA parties are 4
(Just my 2 cents)
