Agreed, it's almost as disgustingly vile as the 'artwork' (one uses the term lightly) for 'The Chocolate Invasion' ill

What artwork for TCI? You mean that shi*** one that was also used for Slaughterhouse that looks like the crappy "illustrations" he has on his site? I thought those were made by fans.

Wow! Like something one sees before the migraine hits. That is bad.

Not a statement like the final cover.

Similar to the "Exodus" and "MPLS" artwork. I think they were better though.

I always thought it could do with some cleaning up and such, the album name looks just a little TOO cheap, even though that was the look.

It's similar to Exodus and the early Get Wild single artwork, and the NPGMC artwork. Definately P-Funk inspired.

I like it for that, but the final version suits the album far better.

Call me crazy but I like it.It's different and it's very "punk rock" in a way....I dunno maybe that makes no sense but that's the way I see it.

I see your point. For me, the music was way too dark and heavy for the cover.

It looks like a pinata party album cover (with a lil punk rock flav) biggrin

I don't think the cover is "bad", either. I like it. At least it proves again that the guy has humour.

Yeah, that's exactly it.

Does the org gallery have the Get Wild early artwork to pull up, that's even more punk!

Hideous!!
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

thank god someone said it.

i've had this theory i've been meaning to ask people about on here.

anyone notice the similarity between 1999 artwork, which prince did, and the exodus/npgmc artwork? me and my friend were always wondering if prince did it, because otherwise he "must" have got someone in to draw like he did for 1999 era.

seeing this only confirms it for me, it must be prince, right? it's such a distinctive style with the long bodies and smaller heads, looks like he refined it alot for the npgmc/exodus, but perhaps then he did get someone in and say 'make this look better'.

what do you all think?

I like the official artwork way better. The black and white with him standing in front of La Familia Sagrada with whatever it is he's wearing plus the pimp cane is the bomb.
Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.

I definitely like this original artwork better. It's in the same vein as Prince's art for 1999.

I always thought that the "Gett Off" single artwork was Prince drawing a charicature of himself. The back sleeve bottom right.

Same feel as the other art, long neck, build but in stick figure of course.
