So many fans were weirded out when he changed his names. So many wanted to be PROPER.At a record signing at Tower Records in NYC we were told HE WILL ONLY SIGN things with THE SYMBOL. Some fans went out and bought the NEW issue of VIBE with his picture on it. Then, let's see when he was at Palladium for those several shows at the VIP Event he came in afterward and KAREN Lee was there. She was SO NICE to US FANS. He Came in and I went PRINCE....and he looked and my friends were like NO, don't say that...And I Knew it was O.K. as he looked and smiled. I would tell everyone he didn't mind. I felt he did the name change as a Contractual thing outta Warners to Create More Music IndependentlY. I was Right I suppose. I always got The Name Change and Thought him SMART. But, I told Fans we should RENAME PRINCE PARTYMAN..... CALL him PARTYMAN....Anyway, he'll Always be Cool and anybody saying they don't dig him anymore cause of Larry or Cause of Not digging his Music and Cursing is a Big Ole NERD!
