Thanks Laura. Do U have a pic of Prince and the wife from this nite? Last year U couldn't tear those 2 apart at these award shows. ----- I not seen any pics of him with her in a while. Although CJ the gossip columnist said they were together in Minn a week or two ago. Maybe P is just good at ducking the cameras.

Prince is becoming quite the partyman, inviting everyone back to his place all the time. Was he at the Golden Globes? I didn't recall them showing any shots of him.

As per the New York Post:
But Longoria and Foxx were spotted later at Prince's post-post-Globes party at the pint-size funkster's Beverly Hills mansion. Prince played his guitar to the delight of partygoers while Sheila E. performed with a salsa band. Peter Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Sanaa Lathan, Terrence Howard, Chris Rock, Jessica Simpson and Adrian Brody were among the revelers. Dear God - Jessica Simpson?

If I were Prince I would dislike going to the awards ceremony because it just looks boring! Well I guess I could sit there after a couple glasses of wine in my system.
But the after parties sound like a blast!

I'm almost reluctant to post this, as I DON'T want this to turn into an opportunity to slam the Jehovah's Witnesses...
But, is this sort of thing unusual for a member? I mean, the partying and all -- and especially for an event that gave it's highest prize to a movie about homosexual cowboys. I ask sinceerely out of ignorance and curiosity. Would the congregation at large have any trouble with this? Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

He's decided to give them money and he is making his own kinda rules. But I don't think Parties are out that is just what people think that Jehovah's are Square or something. It's a Spiritual thing and it's Cool. It's Birthdays and Christmas that is Out. Ya don't have to be a Prude to be a JEHOVAH WITNESS.

As long as he isn't doing drugs or getting drunk at these parties, or accepting that kind of behavior from his guests, I don't think he's doing anything against the JW dogma. Sounds like he's just throwing regular house parties. Pretty straight forward and clean. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I have a friend who's a Jehovah Witness. They are without a doubt the most strict people on this planet. So it's easy to say that a party with liquor and Scantilly clad women is definitely out of the question. They are dis-fellowshipped for actions like this. But, is this sort of thing unusual for a member? So then he could move to Buddism or Scientology. Right?

Would the congregation at large have any trouble with this? no way..not true.. funny story, my cousin and i got drunk when we were teens and our grandma busted us..she told us that God made wine to be merry..but that it was only for adults and that we should be responsible when we did decide to drink. so, the partying is okay....it just cant be excessive...and prince more then likely isnt partying...come to think of it, awards are one of the few times witnesses do celebrate..i know whenever i would get an award at school for something my jw witness would always get me gifts and stuff...
