I am a little embarrased to ask this being a Prince fan since 83 BUT i typed in Gett Off to copy the lyrics for somebody and the lyrics for another Prince song comes up called Get Off.;where is this from and how did i miss it??

it's one of the remixes of the song "New Power Generation" and can be found on the 12" of that single.

there are little tiny itsy bitsy touches of the song that would become "gett off" from "diamonds & pearls", but other than little guitar-riffy-sounding things, the two have little to nothing in common...I do suspect that, in his mind anyway, it was a bit of a sketchbook draft for the better-known version, though.

The b-sides on NPG are kinda 'eh' but they're interesting...it's Prince being ranty and all-over-the-place. Not very melodic or memorable, but I think they're a bit fascinating in that I'd love to know what inspired them.

"lubricated lady" is just a few more minuts of the "Get Off" music... it changes when it says "everybody get of (mouth click) eveybody get off"

the 2nd "eveybody get off.." is the start as tracked on the CD of "Lubricated lady."
